A Note from Connie Flowers, upon completing

100 Years of Broadway

Directing 100 Years of Broadway has been an enlightening experience for me.  I’ve directed church choirs, both adult and youth, and I’ve even directed church plays!  But this is totally different.  Having been on the “other” side of Nite Lite’s curtain, it was time to take this step.  I knew directors typically put in many hours of hard work, but I really had no idea of how much.

There is no way that I can express enough appreciation to Marilyn Howe for her dedication to Nite Lite and for this production.  Her efforts have been endless.  Along with Marilyn’s expertise on production, and Kathi Burris’ experience on lighting and direction, I have gained a greater knowledge and understanding of what actually goes on to prepare for a show.

The cast; what wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of working with these past five weeks!  They are putting their heart and soul into this production.  I thank them all for sharing their God-given talents with this community They have endured many obstacles since the beginning, but never complained.  Their attitude has been, “Let’s go on with the show!”

My family, Kenny and Chris, have been so supportive of every aspect of my life.  Thank you for your understanding and support.

Finally, to the audience, I personally thank you for your support of Nite Lite Theatre.  Without you, this would not be possible.
